But with more bugs and no story it's not as good as Hitman, by far, or even the previous games of the series.

The game itself is nice looking and the watered down mechanics and content with the challenges makes it look like a sniper version of Hitman, which is probably much more appealing to the vast majority of gaming people. It's very much game breaking most of the time and all these issues make it tideous and unpleasant to go back to complete challenges. And it's not like they didn't think of it because the map has such sniping spots but most are useless as if the map design team never talked to the game coders and if those never played a sniper game. Sometimes even way under (about 100-200m) and, as in the previous game, the ennemies restart so you can't really go find a nice sniping nest after observing because the game will just get rid of the ennemies then respawn them at the same origin spot. At around 300m everything disappears most of the time even in line of sight. That's pretty game breaking and wasn't an issue even in the previous games.įor some reason they decided to keep spawn/despawn of ennemies which is completely unintuitive in a sniping game, especialy since they put it a such low distance. Then there are even more spots where you'll just get stuck and need to reload the game. The bugs from the 1st game of the series are back with more: there are LOTS of spots on the map where you cannot crawl and have to not only stand but jump to go above (I'm talking about small pebbles or top of stairs that shouldn't be an issue). It has no open world, it's several maps/arenas connected to allow less linear game progression. And there is not a lot of even half-decent sniper game. The reason is not that it's really that bad but it's a huge step back from the previous game, which you should try instead of this one. I have played every precedent game of the series.
